Bowling!

We went bowling for the first time a couple of weekends ago. Ashlyn was terrified at first because there were leagues playing and the music blasting out of the speakers entirely way too loud. She warmed up to the idea about 15 minutes later and bowled for herself, Mommy and Jason! Everytime she rolled the ball, she would turn around, shrug her shoulders twice and strut with such confidence, as you can see in the last picture. Too funny! We will definitely have to go back soon.

John Deere Girl!

Ashlyn FINALLY rode her Gator! Papaw got it for her birthday in March and she didn't ride it until four months later. She loved it!

Fourth of July, 2011

We had a fun Independence Day. We started the day off going to the parade in Pegram. We came back home and had lunch with Granny and took a nap. Later that evening, we decided to go watch fireworks. Ashlyn was scared of their sound at first and kept telling me she didn't like them. She quickly warmed up to the idea and expressed her excitement with "Wooowww!" everytime one was fired!

Sidewalk Chalk

When we go see Papaw, Ashlyn likes to get her sidewalk chalk out and color the concrete frog with him.

Swimming with Uncle Ty!

Ashlyn has loved Ty being here over the summer. She plays with him every afternoon after school. She loves playing guitar and harmonica with him and jumping with him in the pool!

Fun with Uncle James!

We went to see Uncle James and Aunt Ariana a few weekends ago. We went to one of their friend's houses to let Ashlyn see the horses. She has always loves horses, but has never had the chance to "ride" one until now. She had to tell everyone she saw about the brown and white horse.

First Haircut!

Ashlyn got her first haircut on May 10th, 2011. I was so nervous, but I had confidence in Ba's stylist, Bridget. She did an awesome job! Ashlyn was great throughout the cut - After we bribed her with suckers!
