Fun in Crossville!

We recently went to Crossville with Papaw to see James, Ariana, and the boys! Ashlyn finally got her birthday present for them (which is way cool!) and we went to a place called Chuckles for Cameron's birthday. The boys had a great time playing laser tag, arcade games, and riding go-carts. I'm so glad we are all living closer together!

Ashlyn's First Easter Egg Hunt!

Leigh and Carol provide an Easter Egg Hunt for the children in the neighborhood every year. Ashlyn got to participate this year and even found the golden egg!

The child who found the golden egg received a chocolate bunny. I'm not sure how many golden eggs were hidden, but every child there got a bunny!

She stole some chocolate from someone's basket while I was trying to get everyone to take a group shot. If you look closely, she's loving it!

"Here Comes Peter Cottontail..."

Ashlyn woke up Easter morning to a visit from the Easter Bunny! When we opened the bedroom door, he had placed eggs in a trail all the way down the stairs to her basket. This was a special moment for me as well, because my mom used to do this when I was a child and has carried on the tradition for Ashlyn. You can just see the excitement on Ashlyn's face. She kept saying, "Ball, Ball, Ball" pointing to the eggs. The Easter Bunny also brought her a very special gift... Her own sand box!

My Little Red Headed Princess!

Ashlyn rarely dresses up, so I took advantage on Easter morning and had a little mini photo shoot. We even got some with Grandma this time!

"The Granny Bunny"

Granny made Ashlyn an Easter basket. This was Ashlyn's first basket because she was too little last year. The "Granny Bunny" bought her some shoes, a new outfit, a book, Goldfish, and applesauce. I believe the applesauce was her favorite! The last picture was taken after she somehow wrapped the basket around her body and couldn't get it off.
