Hunting for Eggs

Ashlyn had a quick wardrobe change and was ready to hunt for eggs!

Ashlyn loves her Granny so much!

A Visit From the Easter Bunny!

As Ashlyn was sleeping soundly, the Easter Bunny made a visit. She woke up to find a basket full of goodies including a new "George" movie! She also got a new sandbox to replace the one she got last Easter that was ruined in the flood.

Dying Eggs

Ashlyn and I dyed eggs this year in preparation for Easter. She did not understand the concept of gently dropping the eggs into the cups - She wanted to toss them in! She decided what colors she wanted, drew on them with the wax crayon, and placed stickers on them. We made a "Mommy" egg and an "Ashlyn" egg. They turned out pretty good!

"The Granny Bunny"

The "Granny Bunny" came to visit Ashlyn! She has a stuffed caterpillar that always finds a Curious George fruit snack ("George") when we visit Granny's house. You can see it in these pictures as he was helping her find her hidden Easter basket. As soon as she spotted it and saw the jelly beans, she had to eat some!

Where's Ashlyn?

One morning after I got ready for work, I found Ashlyn hiding in the corner watching "George" (Curious George DVD). She obviously didn't want to go to school that day!

Mommy's Little Model

When Ashlyn got her one year portraits taken at Sears, the photographer wanted to display her picture in the store. Here she is, one year later, next to her one year shot. She didn't seem too enthused, but I sure was!

Two Year Portraits

My girl is growing up! Here are her two year pictures taken at Sears Portrait Studio. Aunt Patti made both of the dresses in these shots.
