Giving Daddy Kisses
Here are a few pictures from our last visit with Matt. Ashlyn was so photogenic that evening, so I got some really cute pictures of her giving Daddy kisses and grins!
Another Dress From Grandma!
Here are a few pictures with another dress Grandma Joy bought. I didn't get many pictures this day because the mosquitos wouldn't quit biting me and Ashlyn, as you can see from the last picture!
A Pretty Girl in a Pretty Dress!
Grandma Joy bought Ashlyn this precious dress, but now that the weather is getting cooler she's not going to be able to wear it. I had to be sure to get some pictures of her wearing it, so we had a mini photo shoot at Grandmother's house one afternoon. She loved playing with the flowers!
Somebody Loves Dogs!
Now that Ashlyn has gotten bigger, we let her play more with Abby and Emma, Mom's dogs. They are so gentle with her even if she pulls on their ears and nose! The last two pictures are with Wesley, our neighbor Leigh's dog. I think she's going to take after Mommy and Daddy and be an animal lover!

Playing with Miss Carah!
Aunt Patti and Uncle Jeff were babysitting this cute little baby last night. Carah is somewhere between eight and nine months old and I thought it would be a good idea to get her and Ashlyn together. At first I honestly believe Ashlyn thought Carah was a puppy crawling around! She smiled and held her hands out like she does with the dogs. Then Carah tried to attack Ashlyn and knocked her down. After that, they didn't much care for each other for awhile! Neither one of them had ever been around another baby before, so this was a new experience for the both of them. So cute... and funny!
Six Months Photo Shoot!
First of all, I have one of the most prettiest babies ever (in my opinion)!! We went back to Sears yesterday to get Ashlyn's six months pictures taken. The dress she is wearing is very special to me. It was a gift from Maxine Smith, Matt's step-grandmother. She has yet to meet Ashlyn, and this dress is the only connection we have to Matt's side of the family. It is absolutely beautiful! Once she warmed up, Ashlyn did great for her pictures. She definitely knows what a camera is! These are my favorites from the session. The last one I just had to include on here. It's not one of my favorites, but I want you guys to see how much she looks like her Daddy in the shot. There is no denying his daughter, that's for sure!
