First Day of "School!"

I start a new job on Monday, so Ashlyn is having to go to "school" earlier than we thought! It's a nice place and I think she will enjoy it. Here she is waving bye bye to the camera before we left this morning.

We had to go to Papaw's a couple of days after Christmas to open the last of the presents. This little girl is so loved!

Christmas Morning at Grandmother's House!

After we did the Santa thing, we went to Grandmother's house for breakfast and to open even more presents! She had a big time with Grandmother, Papaw, Aunt Patti, Uncle Jeff, Emily, and Miss Kay!



She got some new books, shoes, blocks, squeaky toys, clothes, a hat, money, and more!


She enjoyed playing blocks with Emily and playing in Uncle Jeff's bag!

Aunt Patti made the Christmas dress Ashlyn is wearing. I love it!

Santa!

These are pictures from Christmas morning when Ashlyn got to see everything Santa brought her! The two big items were Elmo and the barn. He also brought her some bath toys, a first set of pearls, silver boxes for her first tooth and first curl, and a couple other small things.





The first thing she saw was her Elmo Live Encore!

Christmas Eve!

I finally got around to posting Ashlyn's First Christmas pictures! These are from Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Granny, Miss Karen, Aunt Nina, and Sara came over to have dinner and open presents. Ashlyn got lots of goodies and really helped this Christmas not be so sad after losing our Papa. I took lots of pictures, but failed to get one of Ashlyn and Grandma Joy together. Oh well... We had a wonderful night anyway! Enjoy!
