Ashlyn's 1st Day Trip... Kentucky!

Ashlyn and I went with Grandmother to Princeton, Kentucky today to visit her sisters. This was Ashlyn's first trip out of state, although the ride was only a couple of hours. She was great during the ride and was such a sweet baby throughout the visit!

Now... Some people may find this a little odd that I took pictures, but I had to take Ashlyn to "meet" her Great-Papaw while we were in Princeton. I wish Papaw was still around to give Ashlyn lots of love, but I know he's watching over her every day. She absolutely loved being at the cemetary because of all the big shade trees. We love and miss you Papaw!

Ashlyn's cousins Peyton and Wyatt are in town from Virginia for the summer. We haven't gotten a picture with Wyatt yet, but this picture of Peyton was too cute I just had to post it.

Growing up!

Ashlyn rolled over (back to tummy) for the first time last week at Grandmother's house! I'm so glad I had my camera to halfway capture the moment. June 22, 2009... Gotta remember to put it in her baby book! Once she got to her belly she didn't quite know what to do besides grunt and look around for help. So cute!

Father's Day 2009

Ashlyn had a busy first Father's Day visiting with Daddy and all her grandfathers.

Ahhh, Summertime!

I took Ashlyn swimming yesterday at Grandma Joy's. We couldn't keep her out too long because of the heat, but long enough to stick her toes in the water and for me to get some super cute pictures!
